The departure from your hotel in Rome will be around 8am, your personal driver will pick you up in a comfortable vehicle equipped with air conditioning.

During the journey you can witness the amazing landscapes the area has to offer, the panoramic views you will enounter through Umbria and Tuscany.

Once in Greve in Chianti you’ll find yourselves in the main square called Piazza Matteotti, where you can go shopping in the famous local food shops to buy cured meats and speciality cheeses, as well as other local crafts.

VIGNAMAGGIO VILLA and Winery

After visiting Greve in Chianti we will arrive at the elegant Villa Vignamaggio and Winery, where the centuries-old wine cellar is surrounded by vineyards, cypresses and olive trees.

You will be surrounded by an amazing atmosphere and relaxing views typical of the Tuscan hills. The villa originally owned by the Gherardini family a very known family of Tuscany, has been renovated over the years and became a wine cellar and a destination for wine connoisseurs. You will enjoy a delicious Tuscan lunch with wine tasting.

BROLIO CASTLE

After your lunch its time to visit Vignamaggio, which again features another winery called Castello di Brolio, the castle is owned by the Ricasoli family for years specialized in agriculture and in the care of their vineyards.

Bettino Ricasoli has dedicated himself to perfecting his recipe for Chianti wine, aquiring and complying with the DOC regulations. We visit the gardens of Brolio Castle and the beautiful chapel surrounded by vineyards and their intoxicating fragrance, it will not be possible to visit the interior of the castle because it is a private residence.

At the wine bar you will have the opportunity to sample a wide selection of wines, Chianti Classico DOC Vinsanto The Granello.

Our tour ends here where we will return you to Rome by late afternoon

WINERIES-Visit and Fees

* The price for Wine Tasting, Tour and Lunch at Vignamaggio is 55 Euros per person.
Please let us know that you wish for us to reserve this for you in advance as it's possible only upon availability with advance reservation.
* Wine Tasting tours must be booked in advance and according to availability at the wineries.
* There is a minimal 5 Euro fee to visit the exterior of Castello Brolio and its gardens, and each entry ticket includes 1 complimentary wine sample of your choice. Additional wine tasting available at added fee.

*Payment

will be made in Euro funds at the end of your journey directly to your driver, or you may prepay in advance via PayPal with 5% service charge
